Every year, there are 2.7 million deaths around the world, infants included, caused by cardiovascular complications. We're dedicated to reducing this figure drastically by readying funds needed for heart surgeries across the world with our focus on infants and children.
For children under 11 years across the world. According to UNESCO's survey, there are not less than 200 million out of school children globally. We've provided basic education for 500,000 children globally since 2021, aiming to hit 1 million by 2025.
According to UNICEF's data in 2023, there are about 15.8 million deaths of women during labour worldwide and about 80% is due to lack of cesarean sections. From 2021-2024, we've funded cesarean sections for 900,000+ women in total.
According to WHO, approximately 2.2 billion people lack access to safely managed drinking water. We provide pipe borne water to 10 communities monthly across the world by funding 5 bore-holes in each community.
The world loses an average of 10 million people yearly due to cancer, with 40 million people living with cancer every year. Since our inception, we have provided chemotherapy for 5,000 patients yearly across the world who have gone on to be cancer survivors. This is our most challenging program both financially and in human resources.
Through our five key programs, we've made a measurable difference in communities across all seven continents, touching millions of lives worldwide.
Saving lives through cardiovascular interventions
Providing safe drinking water to communities
Operating across all seven continents
For the purpose of transparency, we have put out what it costs the organization (Calls 4 Charity) to be able to carry out its programs for each individual which is verifiable by all and sundry.
These are standard rates that apply for all patients across the world, ensuring that future or intending donors have a clear idea of what it costs the organization to carry out its duties and what they're contributing towards.
